The military authorities did not aloud the building houses of massive material, because the whole town was within the range of fortress, cannons. In the case of Turkish attack, the town should be demolished in order that the artillery has free space around the fortress. After the abolition of "Vojna Krajina" and the occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brod na Savi was developing intensely, and the old wooden Brod was disappearing.
