Introduction
Brod na Savi
Sava River Bridge
Sava River
From Granik to Granik
From Granik to Granik
Granik was the crane for unloading and discharge of barges on Sava, mostly logs. Granik was also a place where the crane stood. There were two Graniks, one at the bridge, and the other on Vijuš. Today they are still there like built towers, which emerge from Sava; just the cranes are missing.

The narrow-gauged railway ran from Granik to the wood and timber industry. Horses dragged the railway cars. The railway passed from the bridge, near Klasije, across the fair grounds (today Trg pobjede, Square of Victory) to "Slaveks". The second railway track led from Vijuš, trought Pivarska and Stampareva Street to "Slavonija" (wood and timber industry).
